Today West Hill C.I. DD program staff kicked off our professional learning about interception, co-regulation & relationships, and proprioception, supported by our awesome PT, Hardi, and various TDSB Occupational & Physiotherapy Services resources


Students at West Hill C.I. participate in a school-wide event for #TruthAndReconciliationDay, planting strawberries to recognize the impact of Residential Schools and honour Indigeneity.


Meaningful collab for West Hill C.I. Native Studies Art students to create spoons labelling the various Pollinator Gardens plants planted and tended to by the students in the DD program


Great learning session this morning with our TDSB Speech Language Jessica and the DD-ISP staff, getting comfortable with navigating the TD Snap app to support communication




Today, students from West Hill C.I. (mainstream and DD-ISP) spent time with Miinikaan - an Indigenous garden design company - to learn more about food sovereignty, important plants, and to start planning an Indigenous school garden!


This video camera study showed that less than 5% of people on bikes broke traffic laws while riding, yet 66% of people did so when driving. And if you REALLY want even MORE bike-riders to obey laws, build more protected bike infrastructure. Via Carlton Reid
