When we chase a squirrel that takes us down a path not lit by Jesus, we are lost in the darkness of the fog. We can no longer see the squirrel, and we can no longer see Jesus. When we feel lost, we need to call upon Him and step back into His light and let that squirrel go.

I pray in the morning and at night for God's armor of protection over myself and my family. Boy do I feel the sting when I forget to pray. When is a good time for you to pray for God's holy armor of protection?

Unforgiveness is candy for Satan to feed on. Forgiveness is life bread for our souls. I've given Satan many Snicker bars in my life. How about you? I think it's time to put the enemy on a sugar diet.

Voices are a powerful gift from God. When we answer the phone and hear our friend say hello, just by that one word we can discern if our friend is upset, excited, or worried. I ask myself often: How closely can I recognize the voice of my Father? How about you? #faith #Jesus

Sir Lancelot knows how to relax. He isn't shy, worried what he may be missing, or apologetic. I could learn a lot from this fluffy fella! Jesus asks the same of us. Sit quietly with Him, clear our mind of worries, and never apologize for taking out time to be with Him.

God's love is infinite, yet some days I feel so far away from Him. Do you feel that way, too? The love God gives doesn't slow down to a drip or stop completely during the more dry times in our lives. His love is a running river without end.

In Christ, the newness never wears off. Strip off what is old that you let define you. God let it go, and so should you. #Jesus #Christians #amwriting

Sometimes all we can say is, "Thank you, Lord." It's never enough, and it never expresses the true depths of our thankfulness. But I know God sees through to the remotest parts of our souls and understands far beyond what our inadequate words could ever convey.
