When you escape a life time of abuse trying to heal from the damage only for it to repeat and come at you from other sources, other angles. Its a forever ongoing battle filled with guilt, pain & more hurt. The effect doesnt just effect you but loved ones 2. When does it stop! 😔

Im loyal, il never leave you for someone else. Il leave you for myself, for my sanity, for my peace, for my self respect, for my survival.

Whats hardest for most isnt losing the Narc. Its forgiving yourself for falling in love with what we thought was potential, knowing damn well we saw the warning signs, and the narcs inconsistancy. Forgiving yourself is a must, and a huge part of your healing journey! 🙏🏽

Five years after leaving my narcissistic ex, he still tries to slip back in with compliments. They never stop. But when you can look at them and feel absolutely nothing — no anger, no hurt, no interest — that’s when you know you did it. You broke free. #Narcissist #healingabuse

My ex never said “no,” but he made me stop asking to see friends. He argued I’d leave him “stuck with the kids,” turned it into a fight, even in front of them. I eventually stopped asking. That’s coercive control: quiet, manipulative, and invisible. #coercivecontrol #narcissist
