I am grateful that our Spokesperson Charmaine Thom raised important issues such as supports for rural and remote BC communities in the true north. She also asked about the opioid crisis. First Nations people are disproportionately affected by addiction due to personal traumas.

I am encouraging my friends and family in Yukon to vote for Brendan Hanley (you can vote early at the elks lodge). Also I am encouraging for Skeena-Bulkley Valley (Atlin) to vote for Taylor Bachrach ❤️🧡 Vote anytime between now and April 28th.

Hopefully Telesat launches another Anik F2 satellite. 🛰️ Everyone talks about how important northern sovereignty is, but I don’t see enough investments into key infrastructure to support my hometown. Radio stations and accessibility to them matters.

Shameful. My colleague and our Deputy Leader Sol Mamakwa was removed from the legislature for speaking out against Bill 5. Here's the moment it happened. Make no mistake: Bill 5 must be scrapped. ➡️ OntarioNDP.ca/scrap-bill5

It was a great health conference and congratulations to Wade Grant on his recent election. I hope that FNHA and BC will recognize the remoteness of #TrueNorth soon for our unique communities. #Atlin #Iskut #LowerPost #Kwadacha #GoodHopeLake #TelegraphCreek #DeaseLake

The process between NIHB and FNHA is so convoluted and frustrating it leaves transboundary communities like mine left to foot the bill for their own medications due to bureaucratic red tape and offloading of services to private insurance. Awful. Privatization looking sweet rn.

Did you know that to get 911 services delivered to Atlin I probably need the Yukon Justice minister to write a letter to the Federal Minister. #OhVey #PlzHelp #EmergencyServices #CommunitySafety

How many ppl live in Whitehorse? 37k? I’m wondering when enough is enough. Petty crime: break-ins of cars and theft of small businesses…. The major crime: youth shooting guns on Main Street and now the kidnapping of a young girl who was abducted from a park and forced into a car
