The theme has been clothes in #CCYear3 for #CCJuniorMfl this week! The children have labelled their own clothes items in German. Our favourite topic word so far = Strumpfhose (tights)

Topfschlagen was the name of the game in #CCYear4 this week. The children had to shout out directions in German to the person blindfolded, in order for them to reach the pan! #CCJuniorMfl #CCCollaborators #CCLoveOfLearning

The Reception children learnt all about Henri Matisse this week in their French lesson and created their own fantastic Matisse-inspired artwork.

Last week, we were lucky enough to have a couple of Year 6 parents come in to talk about South Africa and the Afrikaans language. We learnt so much about the country and practised some phrases in Afrikaans. Did you know, there are 12 official languages in South Africa! #CCJYear6

Having read a story in Spanish about a grandmother who owned a colourful parrot, we had our own class parrot for the week, brought in by a Year 2 pupil. The parrot looked remarkably like the one in the story and even spoke Spanish back to us! #CCJuniorMFL #CCJYear2
