Previous admin posted about this already but I think it needs to be reasserted. Directors shud attempt 2-part films only If the story is vast enough to justify it. Otherwise its not just waste of money but it also leaves viewers feeling disappointed & incomplete at the same time.

Not at films can be Baahubali & KGF. Influence of foreign web series is subconsciously compelling directors to develop screenplays like Teleplays. This is a counter productive approach becuz its not possible to compress that much detailed dramatic scenarios within 3 hrs.

Screenplays written like that promise big pay offs but deliver frustrating cliffhangers instead. Its like a buffet that serves only starters & says main course will take 2 more years to prepare. Legit 2-part films shud satisfy viewers with part 1 & make them want more in part 2.
