Perfect weather for flying yesterday for members of the RAF Section. Our cadets were preforming turns, experiencing the effects of controls, maintaining straight and level flight and last but not least a few aerobatic manoeuvres. #PerArduaAdAstra

Yesterday members of the Bugles, Pipes and Drums played to remember Mrs Sylvia Pearson, wife of Old Campbellians George Woods who was a massive supporter of the band. Laid to rest in England. George played for Ringwood Pipe Band. Ne Obliviscaris

Today members of Campbell College Bugles Pipes and Drums had the honour to take part in the BelfastLieutenancy VE80 event with the band of the The Royal Irish Regiment at Stranmillis. It was an amazing honour to perform at the event. FAB and Ne Obliviscaris

Pipe Sgt Paulus took part in the NI War Memorial commemoration for those who were killed on 4/5 May 1941 during the Fire Raid. Many were unable to be identified and are buried in a mass grave in the City Cemetery. Over 24 were killed at Campbell College and 11 are interred there.

The Bugles,Pipes and Drums had the honour of taking part in the lighting of the Beacon of Peace at Carrickfergus for #VE80. It was a moving tribute to those who gave so much for our freedom, and our young people did us proud. Ne Obliviscaris
