.Caribbean Canadian Association of Waterloo Region supports communities across our Region. I attended their Awards of Excellence, in collaboration w/ the Congress of Black Women of Canada, which recognized the achievements of students who received scholarship awards. It was a fantastic night - thank you for having me!

We at CCAWR stand in solidarity today & everyday with Indigenous peoples, the first inhabitants of this land. We recognize the pain and violence inflicted on residential school survivors and grief in mourning those who did not survive. We support accountability & reconciliation.
