A fragrant and characterful dark milk made in Vietnam with beans from that lovely nation. MAROU CHOCOLATE bravo

Today we have been enjoying this fine dark Vietnamese bar from the excellent Glasgow makers Bare Bones Chocolate - their choc skills and design ethic are marvellous

An exceptionally fine dark milk from Chocolarder who make beautiful chocolate in Falmouth in Cornwall - and now have a shop there so you can buy in person and compare tasting notes with the team

This may be the only single-origin bar that Hotel Chocolat do these days - such a shame when I think of the wide range they used to do. These days HC is owned by Mars… sigh. This is a delicious reminder of former glories

London Victoria bollocks. One or the other of these two escalators has been broken for months every year for the past five years, leaving passengers - often elderly and/or with children and heavy baggage on a staircase. Meanwhile you spend millions on new ticket gates

I really love this 55% bar made with goat’s milk by Jordi’s of the Czech Republic. Rich chocolate flavour and a slightly salt tang. As you can tell from the annoyingly intrusive sticker, it’s from Cocoa Runners

We are mad keen on the work of Bare Bones Chocolate from Glasgow. No fuss, no nonsense, elegant simplicity as in this perky coffee bar
