Really impressed with Landon Richmond (Columbia City H.S. 2026) this morning. The 6’4” forward looks really comfortable handling the ball inside the arc and scoring in the paint against the size, length, and athleticism of Lawrence Central. Excellent poise and patience.

Boots on the ground here at Columbia City H.S. Coach Matt Schauss led the Eagles to their first Sectional Championship since 2016 last season. Bethel commit Owen Marshall & fellow senior Landon Richmond lead a talented group who should be the Sectional 20 favorites once again.

Had a good time visiting CC Eagles Basketball this afternoon. Always good to see lifelong friend and fellow Centerville High School graduate Matt Schauss! The Eagles have a senior-laden team that should be one of the better teams in Class 3A this season. Impressive group of talent.

That time of the year again. There will be flyers in each of the elementary schools. Excited to see all of the future Eagles in the gym this fall! 🦅 🏀
