— that was my message at the Annual EU Budget Conference.

Investing in peace through the EU budget is ultimately an investment in the prosperity of all European nations.

Ukraine and Moldova continue to make progress on their EU path.

We have finalised proposals for draft Negotiating Frameworks for Ukraine and Moldova.

The negotiating frameworks establish the guidelines and principles for the accession negotiations with each candidate country.

France signs defence deal with Moldova: its completion should be viewed in the context of “France’s leadership role on the need to scale up support for Ukraine”, said former Moldovan foreign minister Nicu Popescu. “Moldova is also part of that effort.”

I've announced my resignation as Deputy PM & FM.

Taking a pause now, but will be standing alongside President Maia Sandu and PM @dorinrecean. We have managed to keep Moldova peaceful, stable and on track to the EU with accession talks starting soon.

Today, I awarded Moldova’s highest honour to Nicu Popescu as he steps down.

His unparalleled work lifted Moldova from isolation, defining our European path and commitment to freedom.
