Well-known authors' writing about WWI helped the world to grieve and process the trauma. #disastersongs function similarly. ow.ly/TvDe30mxPjC

Dr. Andrew Lynk writes songs to cope with the stress of his job. It's not so different from the reasons that many people write songs in response to disasters. #disastersongs cbc.ca/news/canada/no…

Students who planned a SILENT and PEACEFUL protest outside the CBU Board of Governors meet today have been BANNED from corridors--effectively banning the protest. It is a disgrace. Our job is to educate the next generation of leaders, and admin's job is to cower from them.

CBU's Board of Governors meeting today. Student reps/faculty excluded. Students also told they can't hold protest in hall outside... or **anywhere inside** CBU b/c of 'safety concerns'. [Funny didn't apply to other student gatherings, e.g., job fair last year, performances.]

3. The CBU admin guy who said he is overpaid because "that's how she goes" also CBU faculty are among the highest paid in NS. It's a baffling statement.
