It's long since been the case that marginalised people asking for their rights to be respected are characterised as bullying. It's DARVO.

Here’s the thing. Being on the right side of revolution requires personal sacrifice. It means sometimes you’ll have to miss an opportunity. It certainly means that a brand deal or personal access can’t be more important or valued more than what’s right.

When you challenge the status quo, you risk that the difference you bring gets positioned as somehow weird, irrelevant, or missing the point.
If we're serious about diversity & belonging like we say we are, this is an important moment to listen & to say 'thanks for sharing this'.
