Housing policy is climate policy.

Older white homeowners dominate public comment and their views better predict outcomes, even in SF. It’s time to end public comment for individual housing projects. SF has a massive and well-funded “equity” advocacy ecosystem, and even here, public comment disadvantages POC!

These migration patterns are easy to understand: growing states like Florida and Texas build roughly twice as many homes per capita as California. If we want to revive the California Dream, we need to build more homes in our thriving cities.
