Lac Labelle was fast firm and a little crispy today. Forecasted to get 1-2” of rain over the next couple days we let everything dry out, fertilized all KBG & Tees, and buried greens and approaches with sand. Superintendent Jordan Kalous slinging sand behind play in the dark!

The crew is finishing the year off strong fixing some irrigation settlement (It’s been driving me crazy….Couldn’t wait to fix it!!!) and working on a couple creek restorations. Course is in great shape and ready for winter. Looking forward to a great 2023!!

I love how Mother Nature exposes drain lines. Plan is to replace all sand above lines during our spring sand depth audit.

Sodding in January? We’re extending our short grass out to the creeks edge on the drivable par 4 14th! Last photo is Kentucky Bluegrass that we installed December 16th and rolled up today to make some changes. Look at those roots!

The front half of the double punch bowl 9th green. We’re going to extend the back of the green creating another bowl backed by fine fescue with a wall of fescue separating the 2 bowls. Short grass will extend all the way to the covered patio and bar.
