Looking forward to speaking at this conference today about the highs and lows of training as a doctor when you have #ADHD, and things that employers and educators can do to help. #DrsinDifficulty

there's a zoo in belgium that puts otters in the orangutan enclosure for engagement and fun for both species. this has resulted in a glut of videos of otters stealing blankets from orangutans, which i've spent this morning watching at work.

Struggling through your medicine degree only to be saddled with this level of debt. With yearly real term pay cuts, likely career stagnation, and potential unemployment. All whilst working in a crippled healthcare system. Doesn’t take much to see why people flee.

7 years, 2 universities, 3 degrees, and an ADHD diagnosis later, today is my last official day at medical school. Marking the occasion by speaking at #DrsInDifficulty about supporting medics with ADHD … and using deadline hyperfocus to finish my final assignment! 😜

Bank Holidays means a day off for most, but not for thousands of NHS staff keeping services running. Resident doctors, often starting work with over £100k debt, are the lowest paid workers in hospitals today. RT to remind Wes Streeting every NHS worker deserves fair pay.

Us juvenile delinquents perform brain surgery for £43/hr, singlehandedly take care of multiple wards overnight for ~£23/hr, deliver babies in distress for £38/hr. Oh wait, no, sorry... that's what we're asking for, we actually earn much less. And some of us don't have jobs at
