so many people quietly get away with being horrible people so no, idgaf when someone loses their career over being abusive. i bet those kinds of people care more about losing their career than any remorse they have. i personally wish all abusers had nothing and lose everything

labeling anyone’s responses against an abuser as performative does nothing to help the cause. we NEED big voices to speak on extremely serious topics like this. even if you believe someone to be disingenuous, solidarity is more important than anything.

i hope you realize a PR statement written by a team to save face publicly with no apology is not at all “brave.” it’s cowardly. speaking your truth publicly against a man with a lot of money and power within the space? groundbreaking. the epitome of bravery.

the reason why we ask people with platforms to spread awareness on pаlestine is not bc a tweet can solve it, but because there is a government spending billions on social media to fabricate consent for their war crimes. if it didn’t matter, they wouldn’t spend money doing it

being able to come to terms with, leave, heal and then speak about an abusive situation you’ve endured is one of the most difficult and painful positions to be in. my heart goes out to all victims. it takes a tremendous amount of strength to share your own experience publicly.
