A rotting cow carcass, pregnant dogs without food or water and lambs trying to suckle on a dead ewe were among the distressing scenes found on the farm by an animal welfare inspector.

Personally, I don’t think a €2,500 fine and €3000 in costs reflects the cruelty endured.
