Richard Rutherford was a frequent patron at National Arts Centre. I always loved talking with him about our dance performances and I was impressed with how he kept up with everything in our field. He contributed so much to the Dance world and he will be sorely missed. RIP dear Richard.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of David Leighton, former NAC Board Chair (1999–2006). A towering figure in the arts, in business, in governance and university, he led with vision, integrity and kindness. We will lower our NAC flag at half-mast to honour his memory.
