One of the most fascinating and important problems in the NHS over the last decade has been to complete lack of any relationship between the published strategies and the actual budget allocation decisions.

Before a Cost improvement project is implemented in your dept in the #nhs , please can managers consider the knock on effect of the increased work / cost for other depts . There is a risk of patients falling between the gaps of such siloed budgets. (and no overall savings made )

Just announced @julianhartley1 will be appointed as CQC’s new chief executive - he has a huge job on his hands. A long serving NHS trust chief, he'll need to put patients' interests first ahead of the trust sector.

The lack of this investment is revealing. The NHS “system” is people. Supporting them to succeed in providing safe, high quality care should be an organising principle. Research like this 👇 would help…

"What is your reality?" Was the question asked to our healthcare professionals from our last speaker of the day Terrence Sykes. Having a healthy workplace is so important but with so many factors working against you burnout, money ect.. it's easy to see why we sometimes find it

Ask the Great British public for ideas about the NHS...we have the predictable bin fire of opinions - too many managers, fines, charge immigrants, nurses are too fat, they don't need degrees etc etc. I pity the civil servant who has to sift through this: change.nhs.uk/en-GB/projects…
