Breast cancer screening saves the lives of around 1,300 women every year in the UK. If you have an appointment for breast screening it’s really important to attend, and tell us as soon as you can if you can’t go.

I live for the day when we move away from the notion of timing based cord clamping (1 min, 30s) and toward physiological based cord clamping. What matters is that the baby has breathed first (or IPPV commenced) and then the cord is clamped. That might happen before 1 min. #GOU21

It seems to be the turn of doctors to get a kicking from the media. Please RT if you remain right behind them despite the nonsense that’s being published.

Excellent transport session at EAPS Congress, chaired by Cath Harrison and Jonathan Davis. Lots of food for thought around how we measure quality and research priorities in #neonataltransport. #qualitymeasures #EAPS2024 #QI

Inaugural session for transport section of European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR) at EAPS Congress. #Ventilationstrategies, CO2 and aEEG monitoring during transfers, #qualitymeasures, noise in the ambulance and future research priorities. Interesting comparisons between UK, Spain and Western Australia.
