New curriculum next year? Pave the Way for Teachers to Feel Confident VS Overwhelmed'! #curriculum #leadership #instructionalcoaches #principals podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/catch…
A5: The single most effecting strategy is to network! All it takes is reaching out to someone that you think may point you in the right direction and push aside feelings of inadequacy or insecurity 🥰. #edauthorchat
A4: One of my favorite moments is a long detailed Marco Polo chat with Allison Petersen about the vulnerability of writing and the process that not really explainable until you’ve experienced it. It is refreshing to share so openly about this hard work #edauthorchat
A2: this chat, of course! But also by connecting directly with those that have traveled the path before me or are in the thick of it. #edauthorchat
A1: Writing allows me to “brain dump” and cull through the ideas after auditing them against research and through conversations with colleagues. #edauthorchat
Casey from Texas! District Instructional specialist by day and team alignment coach by choice 😄. Success= I completely finished the draft of chapter 1 of my book! #edauthorchat

A6: Tonight’s takeaway- too many! Can I list them all?! I’m just so grateful to have this chat and community! #edauthorchat
A5: Step AWAY, eat brain-healthy foods, and spend time with God, family, and friends (and in that order lol). I think too often our routines include too many work-related things. But routines can absolutely serve as a means to recharge #edauthorchat
A4: (VULNERABLE) Enneagram 3, I’m hard-wired to “be” excellent/want others to feel what I produce is excellent 😳- SO mindset work is crucial- my tribe gives truthful feedback bc they WANT me to succeed AND I can choose how to utilize their feedback #edauthorchat
A3: A coach and community!! My speaking #coach and the folks at BostonSpeaks have been invaluable when it comes to mindset work, bc that’s what it’s all about, right? MINDSET. Think about your situation, thoughts, feelings, and actions- then reframe! #edauthorchat
A2: I used to try scheduling a specific time in my day to write (and I sometimes still do), but I think now it’s more so treated as a part of everything I do- every interaction is a potential story, everything I read is a potential works cited, etc. #edauthorchat
Casey here from buff.ly/43VvUTX - Aspiring author in East Texas
- Can’t get enough of talking about #leadership and #teams 🤪
- Here to learn and grow as an author and get that book written (draft completed by November 😳) #edauthorchat
Read my blog post with EL Magazine and ASCD about why leaders need to keep up with the times. #EdAuthorChat

A5: This might not fit the question, but I have found for myself that I have to be out of my house to think and write effectively. I also read and reread my writing aloud to ponder new ideas- which can be awkward in public, but I still do it lol. #edauthorchat
A4: Other than this chat right here?? Nothing it jumping to the top of my mind at the moment, but I’m curious to see others’ suggestions!! #edauthorchat
