Tomorrow the 1’s make the trip to Garboldisham CC and the 2’s welcome BoughtonCC to Rising. Good luck to both teams.

Catch up from the weekends results: The 1’s were involved in a thriller, M.Taylor took a wicket with the last ball of the innings to secure a tie, yes a tie against Garboldisham CC, there was also a great debut from W.Freeman taking two wickets and a run out.

The 2’s were treated to a captains innings with C.C. Russell hitting an unbeaten 90* ensuring they got back to winning ways, notable mention to A. Chinniah for bowling a triple wicket maiden.

Last weekend the 1’s were edged out by a good Narborough Cricket Club team, special mention to Steve Long for making a good 48. This weekend we travel to Kirkley & Belton CC looking to get back to winning ways.

The 2’s continued their good form with a win against Fakenham, K. Sankar was the stand out taking 5 wickets. This weekend we welcome Bircham Cricket Club to Rising, good luck all.

It’s was double delight last weekend as both teams got the win, the 1’s posted 145 and managed to bowl the opposition out with opening bowlers Taylor and Sunil only giving away 18 of their combined 20 overs, Didin was the main wicket taker with 4/23.

The 2’s notched up another great win chasing down 154, Chinniah, Mcneil, Footman and Sannaki all getting scores to ensure we got the victory.

This Saturday the 1’s host NorwichBystandersCC and unfortunately there is no 2’s game. Good luck lads.

What a performance from M. Sannaki Saturday as the 1’s got another win. After being 50/0 we fell to 80/7 but Mahesh stepped forward with a wonderful 69* hitting the ball to all parts of the ground and very long. The main wicket takers were Taylor and Ajoy.

Two weekends ago the 1’s were beaten by a good @aylshamstgiles side in a reduced 30 over game, J. White and Huddy were the main run getters.

The 2’s were also beaten by a very good Hardingham CC team two weekends ago and came out second best against HockwoldCC 2’s last weekend, today they host Swaffham Cricket 2’s at Rising. Good luck lads.

Last weekend saw the 1’s win a great contest between two good sides, Caister Cricket Club, we chased down 184 with J.White and Robbo Wilson forming a pivotal partnership to see us home.

The 1’s carried on their good form at the weekend with a nail biting win by one run,Taylor with a well played 50 and Huddy bowling the final few pressure overs saw us home.

The 2’s lost out to Swaffham Cricket at the weekend, a good 45 from S. Long while Crome Russell and Gilly were the main wicket takers.

Few results to catch up on from last week, the 1’s put in a good performance to beat Garboldisham but the 2’s didn’t manage to beat the weather as their game was abandoned.

This weekend the 1’s were edged out by Narborough in a great game, additionally the 2’s came up against a good Fakenham team and we’re on the losing side.

The Midweek/Sunday team have been on a hell of a run recently clocking up victories against The Squirrels, Presidents and most recently Notts Forest. Special mention to Jamie White for a blistering 121* against the presidents in damp conditions.

Good to see former Wroxham FA Vase HQ finalist Martin Mcneil at the Ressies game with Heacham F.C supporting the visitors but pleased to meet up with old friends at Trafford Park. Macca is still showing his sporting prowess play cricket for Castle Rising.

1’s produced a great performance Saturday, O.Denton and J.White both hitting 80’s in a 160 run partnership. Unfortunately the 2’s didn’t manage to dodge the weather.
