Low transpulmonary pressure (stretch across the lungs) may mediate BP fistula closure in patients with #ARDS. #ECMO support is sometimes needed to achieve these low transpulmonary pressures in patients with severe lung injury. @sccm UCSD Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, & Physiology
