TODAY: Three years after it was first announced, CASS_AZ is opening "The Haven." It's a shelter for seniors experiencing homelessness, with 130 units designed for single or double occupancy. Will hold about 170. You may know the building as the old "Phoenix Inn." KTAR News 92.3.

Congrats to CASS_AZ on today's Grand Opening of 'The Haven' on I-17 in PHX, AZ’s 1st/only emergency shelter for seniors experiencing homelessness. ADOH funded $7.5M for the acquisition/rehab of the old Phoenix Inn into 130 new beds & a roof for seniors facing housing insecurity.
