Loved seeing so many new and familiar faces today! My first few weeks behind the scenes with BV Blended Learning have been focused on the 'how'- Rally in the Valley was a beautiful reminder of the 'who' and 'why' that make Blue Valley Schools so special! #herecomesthesun

One day left! I've used Canvas by Instructure as a secondary teacher, graduate student, adjunct professor, and soon as a district coordinator- can't wait to hear about new updates and continue filling my digital toolbox!

Had a wonderful time visiting Cedar Hills Elementary this morning! Hazel can't wait to start kindergarten in the fall as a cheetah! 💙🐆💚

Our hearts are with the community in Uvalde.

We are also thinking of every educator and student who will return to the classroom in the wake of this tragedy. We don't have the right words, except that we love and support you endlessly.

Today we honor veterans such as my dad, who travelled the world with the US Navy before retiring as a Commander. I can't wait to share more about his and other veterans' stories next semester when we do our Ghosts of War and Holocaust units in US History and ELA. #USNavy
