Tomorrow is our Terry Fox Run day at Downie. Remember to bring your Toonies and dress in your red and white.

Downie students stepped it up at the Regional Cross Country Meet held at Wildwood Conservation Area. Shout out to Mrs Steckly, Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Carter for all their help organizing and encouraging our students to reach their personal goals.

After some instructions from Ms Hildenbrand and warmups Downie Central staff and students are walking, running and biking today for our Terry Fox Day.

Today Downie students took part in a Groove EDGEucation workshop. They learned the elements of dance including, body, space, time, energy and relationship. Students found out dancing is fun!

Reminder that tomorrow is our Orange and Black PEP day at Downie Central. Show your Downie Dolphin Spirit like Madame! Also only two days left in our We Scare Hunger Food drive. I wonder which teacher will get the pie in the face?

We Scare Hunger Winners threw pies at their teachers today. Thank you to Mrs Klassen and Ms Carter for being such great sports! A big Downie Dolphin shout out to all our students who donated over 1900 items to our local food bank.
