Hi #StomaBuds , My dream Volunteer job might just come to fruition. I want to meet with pts before & after #Ostomy surgery to act as their Coach. Give them much needed info before surgery. Coach them after. And be their Cheerleader throughout.

GM #StomaBuds , I hope you are all well. I was just dx with #CKD 3B, which was caused by my #SepticShock in 2018. The gift that keeps on giving. I am sure I will be fine, but having an #Ileostomy exacerbates the situation. I must really focus on hydration, as all #Ostomates must.

I went to see my #Nephrologist today. Tedine Ranich is the most incredible doctor I have ever seen, & I've seen many. If I were a med student, I want want her to mentor me. She is doing everything right. I just had to say this.

#2024 is a great opportunity to think about how you diagnose & treat #Delirium . #Delirium is horrible for a pt to experience & just as horrible for a loved one to witness. Try to dx w/non-pharma means 1st, i.e., glasses, hearing aids, family at bedside
