Students returning to Carson Middle School Aug. 19, will notice a facelift of their school’s cafeteria. The interior paint project provides a more welcoming and inspiring environment for students during lunch as well as parents and families who visit the venue for special events.

Due to the proximity of construction at Carson High, the Carson Blue Thunder Bands hosted Band Camp this past week at Bordewich Bray Elementary School. The sun was bright, the sky was blue and the sound and marching were true. Looking forward to another great music season.

More than 565 apprehensive but excited freshmen from the Class of 2028 joined the ranks of Carson High Tuesday in an orientation led by administrators and school leadership teams. The new students joined the Senator ranks of more than 585 sophomores, 570 juniors and 536 seniors.

Carson High varsity football & cheer teams climbed to new heights Tuesday morning when they connected as seniors and teammates to reconstruct and restore Carson City’s iconic Block ‘C’ on C-Hill. The first home football game is scheduled for Sat., Aug. 17, at Carson High, 1 p.m.
