Today was emotional as our class of 2024 pupils were stood down 👋 Pupils will still join us for revision and exams but today was a special time for us to celebrate the year group - some of whom joined us in Reception in 2012! We are so proud of their resilience and ambition.

Today was the CMCS Dash, where pupils raced around school for a House competition. We're so proud of all the pupils for taking part in the heats, cheering on the runners, qualifying for today's final and for winning their races. Well done Tomlinson House, the overall winners 💚

Well done to our pupils who took part in the law debate, which covered a range of thought-provoking topics. We're very proud of the initiative they have shown throughout. We're looking forward to displaying the trophy in school! 🏆

During their Inspiration Day, Year 5 learned about #fairtrade, where our food comes from and the impact it has on people along the food production chain. They then designed a conveyor belt for the processing of cacao pods to make chocolate. #EnjoyAndAchieve

Year 6 visited MathsCity where they delved into the world of mathematics. They enjoyed the challenge of fascinating puzzles and showed fantastic team work and resilience. Some of the most favoured puzzles were the giant bubble, kaleidoscope and glowing interactive sandpit!

During Year 1s history Inspiration Day, pupils have been learning about the medieval times. They learned about the key features of a castle, the roles of different people in a castle and created their own coat of arms on a shield 🏰🛡️ #EnjoyAndAchieve

We held our Year 11 prom on Thursday evening, with our leaving cohort of pupils coming together for a final night of celebrations. The theme was 'The Reign of 2019-2024' and there were certainly some regal outfits to match! Thank you to all involved in such a special night.
