Happy Canada Day and Happy Birthday to me and amy ❥!

I don’t normally post political opinions on here since my former students follow me. I just want to take this moment & thank Joe Biden 4 all you have done these many decades 4 the American people. My family has jokingly called you “Uncle Joe” 4 years and you are truly one of us.

So I was asked to apply for a long term sub position teaching physics again. Haven’t decided if I should or not…. On one hand, I really love teaching, especially teaching physics. On the other hand, I love the freedom of retirement.

Five years ago today, I had lunch with my mother for the very last time. I miss her every day.

Just saw Blazing Saddles on the big screen. It is my favorite and my mom’s favorite and I could hear her laugh along with me. One of her favorite lines was “what a nice guy!” and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Mel Brooks for the memories and laughter.

Last night I had the best dream ever. Georgia Tennant gave me a puppy, hugged me, and declared herself my new best friend.

I’ve seen a lot of people posting how their vote for Harris is in honor of their mom or daughter. My vote is in honor of my grandfather, Sam Serad. He died in WWII decades before I was born. He fought fascism then and I am proud to fight it now. Harris-Walz 2024!
