The sole medieval cathedral in England where you can see straight from the West door to the apse! I was a bit startled(!)
Few English cathedrals even have an apse, & most of those are obscured by a stone screen (Canterbury, Westminster). The one is St Paul's, which obv is later.

I was at the @ri_science this afternoon when an older visitor there collapsed, having fainted. (They're OK now.)
The RI staff were just fabulous 👏👏
If you are going to faint anywhere in London, be sure to do it there.

And if anyone is asking about Prince William being down at the pub with his mother-in-law, Carole Middleton, just know that he has an open schedule for the next month and a half. He doesn't answer to you, plebs.

What happens when you list your donors on the wall but then you get new ones? Well, here's New College, Oxford this morning installing the updated list.
Made me laugh when I happened upon the guys doing that!

Oxford University accepted a £10m donation that was “facilitated” by the president of Azerbaijan’s sister-in-law. The university is so insistent on keeping the donor out of public scrutiny that it is going to court to block a Freedom of Information request from openDemocracy.
