Two schoolchildren, one from Derry and the other from Belfast, are legally challenging the Minister's RAISE programme. A programme that should've targeted the most disadvantaged children but, what was described as a 'bizarre formula' was devised, to make it NI-wide.

It’s great to see so many MPs supporting an amendment that would prevent cuts to welfare, including 9 who received support from UNISON. However 53 UNISON-backed MPs have not. Our GS and Labour Link must be clear that they must support the amendment and vote against cuts.
