Thanks for organising this evening’s event Chartered College of Teaching and WomenEd 10%Braver #DisruptiveWomen, it was great to hear from such an impressive panel of female leaders #InspireInclusion #IWD2024 Alban Teaching School Hub

A really interesting event celebrating 20 issues of Impact from Chartered College of Teaching. Great to hear from a range academic editors committed to teachers’ research engagement, and from Pheobe and the team who make the journal a reality. It’s so valuable in our profession 👏

As an economics teacher, you can’t go to the Science Museum and not go and see Bill Phillips’ MONIAC machine modelling the circular flow of income 🤓

Great to see the EconomicsinTen team at the Bank of England Museum. A great family day out at the new exhibition and always good to have the opportunity to talk to them about relevant economic issues 🤓

"I am determined that we will drive change together. Together across government. Together with staff across education. Together, where we can, with the trade unions" Read Bridget Phillipson first speech as education secretary in full, delivered at the DfE tes.com/magazine/news/…

The Chartered College of Teaching look forward to working with Bridget Phillipson and her team to raise the status of teaching and ensure teachers' voices are at the heart of policymaking. Our CEO @AlisonMPeacock has written to welcome Bridget and share members' priorities for the new government 🧵

Great work from branwen jeffreys The MTPT Project New Britain and Helena Marsh for getting this vital issue in today’s headlines. Teacher mums who leave profession fuelling shortages bbc.com/news/articles/…

Here’s quite a niche recommendation but if you love economics and Cambridge, then this podcast episode is for you. Your very own tour of Cambridge buildings with significance in the world of economics, brought to you by the ever funny, ever intelligent EconomicsinTen duo 🤓🤓

*Free* training from the ever knowledgeable Marc Rowland A great opportunity if you lead on Pupil Premium. Check it out 👇
