It's 2 days off payday and I'm over my arranged overdraft, and well into my credit card. This has become rediculous. Noticed a huge shift over the last 12-18 months. Prices rocketing. Wages held down. I cannot afford to be a nurse in today's Tory Britain. That's sad.

AfC is a big issue. I certainly don't think it acknowledges the responsibility & the level of knowledge that's required in my role. Going up the next banding is frustrating as there is pay difference is insignificant. So why bother?

We completely agree. Nursing needs more people who are valued through fair pay, safe staffing and great terms and conditions. Until retention is addressed, the nursing profession will continue to lose vital numbers and patient care will suffer. #SafeStaffingSavesLives
