Excited to be presenting my PhD work at the preceding Seminar at the Gordon Research Conferences in July 👏 Looking forward to the rest of the conference with this stellar line up! ✨

We're looking for 3 postdocs to work with us Imperial ChemEng fabriCELL on various topics in SynCell science, bio-inspired tech, microfluidics and BioHybrid systems Build-a-Cell Synthetic Cell initiative. RT massively appreciated! jobs.ac.uk/job/CZR963/res… jobs.ac.uk/job/CZR972/res…

Last month I was selected to present my work at the Synthetic Biology Gordon Research Seminar & Conference 👩🏫 Met fantastic people and had so many interesting conversations. Exciting things ahead! 🙏 Grateful for the support of Yuval Elani Francesca Ceroni Imperial ChemEng

Our paper where we use use microfluidics to generate non-lamellar lipid nanoparticles (#cubosomes and #hexosomes) is out today in Scientific Reports. Had a lot of fun with this research - hopefully others find it useful. Huge congrats to all involved. ☀️❤️ nature.com/articles/s4159…

Great event to kick off the new academic year for #imperialGradBio!! Very excited to be hosting George Foot 🚀 🎟️ Grab your tickets in the link below!

I had a fascinating chat with Yuval Elani about his work creating increasingly life-like cells from scratch. He builds sophisticated architecture into them just like complex living cells have. Might highlight some bits later that didn’t make this post: nautil.us/a-new-way-to-m…

This Thursday 25th, Imperial Grad Bio and Decentralised Science (DeSci) London will be hosting Dr David S.K.; founder of CyanoCapture for a fireside chat and networking drinks - come along to Imperial College London's Union Bar at 6pm if you want to join! meetup.com/desci-london/e… Once again, we're

Genetically programmed synthetic cells for thermo-responsive protein synthesis and cargo release: our Carolina PhD work with us and Yuval Elani is out now Nature Chemical Biology! Check this at : nature.com/articles/s4158… Well done Carolina!!

Can we build genetically programmed synthetic cells that use temperature as a trigger to express proteins and membrane pores? Carolina fab student with Francesca Ceroni has done this using RNA thermometer tech Nature Chemical Biology - out now! nature.com/articles/s4158…

Our latest paper just got publised in PNAS PNASNews ! Great collaboration with Carolina , Francesca Ceroni from Imperial ChemEng and Kuimova Group , Nick Brooks from Imperial Chemistry Directed by Yuval Elani and led by Ion Ioannou pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…
