Day 4 of #NPHW: 1 in 5 Americans will experience mental illness & nurses are often the first person they encounter in the health care system. Mental health is public health. Prevention, early detection, & treatment can lead to improved physical and community health.

Day 5 of #NPHW: Rural Health Rural communities are some of the most vulnerable populations to public health threats, and nurses are often on the frontlines.
