I had a (very necessary) medical test denied by insurance bc "the test has not been proven to improve patient health outcomes." This is definitely wrong. Does anyone have experience doing an external review via an independent review organization???

Researchers at most land grant univs get credit for talking to reporters on background even if they aren’t mentioned. It is (and should be) part of our job to get good information out to the world! We’re funded by taxpayers.
