Finally got around to posting some photos from the #EPStromNet Western Australia field campaign a couple of weeks ago with Natalie Ruth Hicks Graham Underwood Carla Dodd and Gavin Rishworth 1/4 The wonderful peritidal microbialites - the reason I was there!

2/4 Another definite highlight was seeing the living thrombolites at Lake Clifton, amazing to see 'microbialite tourism'!

3/4... and of course a few photos of the wildlife - a little bit more exotic than back home in NI- Laughing Kookaburra, Carnaby's Black Cockatoos, Galahs and Goanna (Monitor Lizard sp.).

4/4 I'd be lying if I said I didn't have an eye out for the flora- especially some stunning endemic orchids- Spider Orchid (Caladenia) sp. (any idea of species- Worldwide Orchids & Wildflowers Silver Dory?) and Western Tongue Orchid (Cryptostylis ovata). #ozplants
