Cardinal’s growing Asheville office celebrated a successful year with a staff holiday dinner. Thanks to all who were a part of our 2024, and we look forward to even more success in 2025.

The Cardinal Engineering offices will be closed tomorrow, December 25th. Offices will re-open on Thursday at 8 AM.

Sean McIntosh, VP of the North Carolina Market, recently assisted our client, Amarx Construction, LLC in obtaining a Special Use Permit for a residential development in Buncombe County. Both Cardinal and Amarx are excited to proceed with design and construction phases.

Brian Craig recently did a presentation on our Drone Services for one of our clients. This presentation is a great way to see what all we are doing with drones to be efficient on our projects. If you’d like to have us present to your team, please comment below.

Welcome back Sam Schwegman! Sam started his summer co-op semester with us Monday. This is his second co-op with Cardinal Engineering, and his first co-op at our Asheville office. He is a Civil Engineering major in his fifth year at the University of Cincinnati.

Brayden Pruetz returns to Cardinal Engineering for his third co-op term.  He's currently a 4th year student attending the University of Louisville studying Civil and Environmental Engineering. Welcome back Brayden!

Congratulations to Mr. Ben Bischof!  Ben is co-oping this summer in Cardinal’s survey Division. He recently began his coursework at Cincinnati State for Construction Management and Land Surveying. We are excited to have him join the team!

Please make welcome Shawn Escobar. He joins Cardinal’s Asheville office in the role of CADD Manager and brings 20 years of experience. We are excited to have him contribute to the growing number of Asheville projects.

Congratulations to Mr. Ryan Mains! He recently passed his LSIT exam which is the first test on his path to be a Professional Land Surveyor. Nice work Ryan!

Sean McIntosh, VP of the North Carolina Market, attended the PENC Professional Engineers of North Carolina Summer Conference. This year’s conference was held in Asheville, NC, just two blocks from Cardinal’s downtown office. Cardinal Engineering was an event Sponsor.

Last Friday, some from our team enjoyed an evening of golf. They played 9 holes at Twin Oaks in Covington, KY. The 3 foursomes played a scramble format, with even par earning the victory.
