The CBC receives approximately CAD$32.43 per capita. You're complaining about paying ~$2.70 per month for a public broadcaster that operates four radio networks and two television networks.

Danielle Smith says she “won’t tolerate” Ottawa continuing to “landlock” our industries. Well, Ottawa bought a pipeline for Alberta, so there’s that. Sorry you missed the memo. Again.

Lost his seat. Three days later, still doesn’t have the decency to thank the constituents he represented in the House for 20 years. It’s because Poilievre wasn’t in the House for Carleton residents. He was there for himself. Not a leader.

Quick reminder that the CPC has appointed an American as the interim Leader of the Opp. …….during a trade war with the United States. 🤔

It is mind baffling to hear the Conservatives say that Canadians need to get to know Pierre Pierre has been in government for 20 years, He has campaigned across Canada for the past 3 years (remember his bus tour ) ? Canadians just don't like him, period ! Conservatives get a clue

Find someone to 'attack' you the way Canada has 'attacked' the oil industry. Alberta has never produced so much oil, and the industry has never made so much profit. This repetitive talking point that Alta has grievances cuz oil was suppressed is pure fantasy. #cdnecon #cdnpoli

Textbook example of Sydney meso-low today. Hourly animation 10am—6pm as easterly marine layer holds steady on E side of CB Highlands (Ingonish Beach). Meanwhile, Sydney area enjoys hottest day of the summer thus far in W flow on S side of low, reaching 32.3°C (90°F) at AQY #nswx

For the CBC haters out there, a woman in Western Bay NL just made a point of saying how vital radio is in emergencies like this string of fires. The internet is down, cell service spotty. She's relying on radio for potentially life-saviing information. CBC News Alerts CBC News CBC

I can usually kayak down this river. Have many summers, including 2023, when we had our last bad fire season. We're in a drought. Not sure how folks can't grasp this. My local FB pages are people with wells looking for water deliveries.

Hey Joe Rogan, Nova Scotia passed an act in 1989 that allows the government to put the woods out of bounds in extreme fire risk Voted and passed by our elected representatives. Never faced a single legal challenge. You don't know shit about us, how are freedoms are protected, etc

When there were fire bans, back country hiking bans, and closures of Manitoba Provincial Parks, I never heard any complaining about it. We understood how critical it was to not exacerbate the situation.

A benefit of being a 38 year military #Veteran, I've been to all continents except Antarctica and did 5 combat tours. To those whining about Canada being broken and our rights being taken away, you don't know sh!t, nothing but 1st world problems. Canada is not broken, you are.

If you are whining about walking in the woods while another Canadian is doing this, let me be just another voice telling you to fuck off.

Seems to me that if a company, like Air Canada, is providing a service that is so critical that its employees must be denied the right to strike, either the company should be nationalized or there should be a public option.
