I was commissioned recently by Julian Do to do a lot of stuff, so here's what I have done so far! First, a Tricera-Blaster from the Geartlinger because Dan Mora Snuck it into MMPR VS TMNT 2. Next, a Gattai/Nina Fusion Shuriken from Ninninger/Nija Steel! #PowerRangers

"The fight was insanely impressive!" "Fans are easily impressed!" "Toku twt is full of miserable elitists!" (okay, that's accurate) Why always talk in extremes? It was an above average fight that was further elevated by the story/earned emotional investment. No more. No less. 🤷‍♂️

Continuity has always been Power Rangers' strength. Sentai purists shouldn't get bent out of shape. Besides, with annual resets and world-ending stakes, continuity eventually becomes untenable (i.e. RPM, Dino Charge). Longevity forces everyone to give into alternate dimensions.

Huh. That's certainly a mouthful. I never get too hung up on names but "Magininger" has the same energy as fans looking at Sentai before it's adapted and the best they can come up with is Ninja Fury, Dino Force, etc.

Just do a full Battle Fever J comic series, Marvel. Introduce the rest of the world to the "first" Super Sentai.

i'm very disappointed in how some in this fandom treat women who express anything besides just 100% positivity. even mild critiques are met with 'but that's just how things are, and we like it - so shut up or we'll mock you repeatedly' - surely we can do better than that?

...or maybe this speaks to the issue of toku treating women as novelties who largely exist to develop male characters? And maybe that toxicity has bled into the fandom and you're dismissing "some folks" (women w/opinions) because you see them as lesser? Just spitballing here.

I hope the Sumino/Oto story has more legs. Otherwise, it was prophetic to discuss how women in toku are used as tools to facilitate men's character arcs right before the Rei/Rikuo/Sumino conflict ended with the lion's share (see what I did there?) of the focus on Rikuo. #Gozyuger

Why are you surprised? Stop treating women as marginalized statistics. If there's one thing you've make abundantly clear with every single one of your replies it's that you don't know a damn thing about women.

Or maybe most toku and anime fans are chill but, like all fandoms, they have some ignorant incels? I'm old. I got into anime when you had to buy DVDs to watch anything. Toku was nearly impossible. There's nothing wrong with wanting a genre to evolve beyond its fan service roots.

So is Nem's prison outfit in this week's Kamen Rider Zeztz supposed to be a Revice reference? Like it's Revice colors and most of the show aired in 2022? Or am I just reading into things?

If I had a nickel for every time a Sentai anniversary season saved Kakuranger for last, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. #Gozyuger
