All right, newbies, listen up! Today is the start of Trials Week! Starting today, your fate here at the Wonderbolt Academy is entirely in your hooves! Your scores over the week will determine whether you have earned a place among the ranks of the very best! Good luck.

*sorts through a stack of final scores on her desk, shuffling them around based on who she feels performed best during Trials Week* Always tough to choose when we have two standouts that are nearly equal in their scores. Both will make fine Wonderbolts one day...

*making her way down to the mess hall, chatting with Blaze along the way* Just had to requisition a SIXTH case of candies for Nightmare Night. I just don't get it. I'm 99.9% sure it's Soarin taking them, but he's never been caught doing it. Not even a wrapper by his bunk!

*down in the mess hall, helping a few teammates and crew put up decorations for the party. Of course, she's keeping a wary eye on Rainbow, as that one is known to pull a prank or two. Especially on Nightmare Night* Last year, she swapped Misty's facepaint with permanent markers!

*the team is on the train to San Franciscolt. She's looking over flight charts and weather reports. Blaze is seated next to her, flipping through some gossip magazine. There's an occasional giggle before Blaze shoves the magazine into her face*

*after the seventeenth time, an annoyed Spitfire pushes the magazine out of her face* You know those magazines are all tabloid garbage, right? You remember what they wrote about Thunderlane a few months ago...

Hey, San Franciscolt! We're looking forward to seeing you all this weekend! Be sure to cheer loud and proud, 'cause the Wonderbolts are in town!

*up in her hotel room this morning, she nudges a good and passed out Fleetfoot who, instead of sleeping in her bed, only managed to make it as far as the hotel couch* All right, Fleets. C'mon. I know you overdid it at the party floor last night, but we've got work to do!

*even though most of the team were out partying last night, she knows each will be ready to fly at a moment's notice come practice time this afternoon* *she's off to an early start, herself. Suited up and starting her pre-flight stretches* Let's do this!

*trots over to meet up with the rest of the team as they gather for practice. She looks around curiously* Anypony see Dustykatt / ダスティキャット 🏳️‍🌈🌈🏴‍☠️? He's not on duty, but I figured he'd be around for practice anyway.

*it's show day, and she is more than ready for it! All the practices, all the training, all the planning comes down to this* *flips through the latest weather reports for San Franciscolt* Looks like the flyover of the bridge is on for today, 'Bolts! We've got only a few clouds.

All right, 'Bolts. It's go time! Let's give em a show they'll never forget! *lowers her flight goggles over her eyes* Skies are clear and we're cleared for takeoff. Let's fire it up! Wonderbolts roll out!
