Today our ACE students showed their athletic capabilities in the district field day! Our Caprock Kind group attended to show support, help out and cheer on all the amazing students. (2 of 2)

Last night, we celebrated & honored the TOP 2% of the Class of 2023 with a banquet. Each of these Longhorns have worked hard toward their successes & we are extremely proud of their accomplishments. As they near the end of their education at CHS we wish them luck in the future!

We know that students are more likely to experience success when they are supported by the adults in their lives. Parents & teachers offer guidance, inspire a passion for learning, and teach valuable life skills. In light of that, our Top 2% students invited an educator (1 of 2)

that impacted their life the most, to honor them at the banquet. They read a letter to their Inspirational Educator thanking them for their lasting influence. Our students said that it wasn't WHAT they taught, but HOW they taught & made them FEEL that made a difference. (2 of 2)

Seniors, don't forget Friday is Senior Sunset at 6:00pm at the Caprock Tennis Center! Wear your Senior Class shirt and bring your own blankets, lawn chairs. Games and door prizes will be provided. Come celebrate one last time together as the Class of 2023!

Congratulations to the senior students who presented portfolios at the Amarillo Museum of Art this month and the students who were awarded various scholarships to pursue their passion in the Creative Arts at the post-secondary level. Please applaud them on their accomplishments.

Yesterday, we celebrated our CHS Retirees, Susan Lowe, Jovita Cross, Sharon Lovett & Katie Hurst. A special thanks to Wendy Harris & Paula Boroughs for putting on the lovely retirement party! Big shout out to Meagan Lopez & her floral design students on corsages & arrangements!

AISD Graduations will be streamed LIVE as they happen on NewsChannel10.com, all NewsChannel10 Apps for phone, tablet & including the ROKU & FIRETV apps. Graduations will then be broadcast the day AFTER on NewsChannel 10 Too. (Cable Channel 6 & over the air on 10.2).
