Split Rail Brewing Hawberry Ale. Brewed with hand picked hawthorn berries. Tart ale. European settlers ate these fruits during the winter as the only remaining food supply. People born on the island are now called "haweaters"

Happy Friday Twitter! Tonight’s quaff is Quadruple Return to Nothingness from Third Moon. 11.9% ABV. Brewed with oats and hopped with Riwaka hops. I really like IPAs brewed with oats. The mouthfeel is luscious. Grapefruit flavours from the hops in this one.

Dessert before bed. This aged well considering (2022). If you’ve ever had Vachon Ah Caramel snacks, you’ll relate to this stout.

Augustus IIPA. Collab with Du Bas Canada. Brewed with Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. Dank, citrus, maybe grape? So good.

Brasserie Distillerie Beauregard. This is brewed exclusively for Tite Frette which is a bottle shop in Quebec. A blend of imperial stout and imperial stout aged 12 months in bourbon barrels.

Sunny daze call for a nice citrusy IPA. This is infused with home baked bread. I didn’t taste it myself but the rest of the flavours of strawberry and citrus come through for me. Very nice offering from Sawdust City Brewing Co.

MONS Quadrupel. IYKYK. This is a fine Belgian style quad. Malty, bready, clove. Always pick up a couple of these if I visit Quebec. The price point is always perfect.

Dominion City - Between Two Evils BBA Stout with coffee. Roasty, smooth, dry. Coffee and bourbon undertones. Really nice offering.
