The Evander Kane story... A 5'10 drunken loser was belligerent and attacking everyone around him, including the idiots OWN GF. Kane stepped in to shield her & others from harm. The loser threw punches at Evander in the process. Then the guy got rocked and removed by the bouncers.

Brock Boeser update - Canucks still trying they have not given up despite slim chances. Expectation he hits market. Yes there could be a fit in Edmonton for Boeser, if he hits market.

Sources say #Canucks and goaltender Thatcher Demko are closing in on a contract extension that will keep him in Vancouver. Demko is eligible to sign an extension as soon as tomorrow and it sounds like that will indeed happen.

canucks doing everything except getting legit top 6 players if we took on kane’s contract just for oilers to sign boeser, i will riot.

"We don’t have any reports of an assault at Pierre’s or anything involving any member of the Vancouver Canucks. This appears to have originated with anonymous social media accounts." -- VPD on the Kane rumours. #Canucks

As Dallas tries to sign Mikael Granlund (talks remain ongoing today), if he hits the open market tomorrow, Vancouver is expected to take a strong run at him.

Boeser just can't quit Vancouver. Sacrificed a year of term to test market, but couldn't bring himself to leave. The bond between player, city and fan base continues.

It might not be a popular move because they just signed him but Lankinen would be the best goalie on the market right now and teams would probably pay the price to get him Canucks could use the space

"I did hear the Canucks made an offer to Suter, I don't know if it was weeks or months ago, that was significantly more than what he signed for today." Dan Riccio and Satiar Shah discuss Pius Suter signing with the Blues on #Canucks Central.

5 Canucks Thoughts (@5canuckss) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Matthew Sekeres Suter is a 15 goal guy. No speed no hits no fights. Kane is a 25 goal guy. Speed. Hits. Fights. This isn’t a close comparison at all

i would’ve used chytil on the wing and acquired a 2C if we lost boeser. now that boeser resigned, it is very unlikely we get another C till mid season. cant put chytil at wing if we don’t got a centre to step up and replace him. höglander petey boeser debrusk chytil kane JBC
