It's kind of crazy how cold most of these responses are. If this happened to me and the artist died, I'd just take the loss. Their loved ones don't need me hassling them. "But I really need that money." If you're that tight, maybe you shouldn't order custom art.

It's less that I'm against shipping malink and more baffled that so many straight white dudes insist that it's canon and "the endgame". It always seems to be people who otherwise have no chips in shipping culture too. They create no content, they just want to feel correct.
