Attracting new nurses is important, but to keep them in community and hospice settings, pay parity with hospitals is also needed. Retention meaning treating nurses well and infusing $$$ into the system that is suffering.

RN prescribing in entry-to-practice curricula will really boost the profession. A lot of attention will also have to be put on upgrading practicing RN's otherwise a generational gap will quickly open up.
