We need to see clarity from @DHSC on Covid testing for care settings. MHA data shows that 59% of confirmed positive tests amongst colleagues & residents during Dec 21 -Feb 22 were from people with no symptoms. Any withdrawal from testing must be backed by evidence...

If new guidance requires any Covid testing to be carried out, or any continuation of broader infection control measures, the cost of this must be fully covered by Gov. Connection with loved ones is of critical importance & visitors should not have to pay for it.

I enjoyed a great discussion yesterday with the senior team Methodist Homes (MHA) about the challenges facing the #SocialCare sector. It was wonderful to see music therapy's positive impact on the wellbeing of residents at Westbury Grange in #NewportPagnell. Their enjoyment was obvious!
