Y9 Grace set herself a challenge of reading 100 books in 2024! She read multiple genres and styles ranging from crime and fantasy to graphic novels - she achieved her reading marathon by the end of December. This is such a fantastic achievement! We are so proud of her!

Year 10 students joined schools from around Norfolk at the UEA on Friday for a Maths workshop, and problem solving activities around Ai, physics and business. Plus, they enjoyed a tour of the University. A great time was had by all!

Former student Hasenat returned to CAN this week to give an inspiring talk to Year 11 girls about her experience of GCSEs. She joined in March 2022 after fleeing Afghanistan with her family. She's a shining example of overcoming challenges to achieve your dreams! #Classof2023

Staff dressed up for #WorldBookDay some highlights were creativity channeling the books of Roald Dahl. Mrs McIntosh as the friendliest Cruella De Ville and Mr Boardman was one of the 3 little (or very big and inflatable) pigs! Watch out for our Pig Race clip!

Have a butchers at this! Cheered on by our students, Mr Coyne, Mr Boardman and Mr Ward raced each other in the CAN inaugural Pig Race, with Mr Fox in hot pursuit ! A crackling end to CAN's #WorldBookDay which will hopefully become a yearly feature!

Two dance teams from CAN took part in a Dance Competition last week organised by Norwich SSP, alongside 100 dancers from across schools in Norwich. CAN team danced with confidence and smile, and worked together as a fab team! #dancecompetition #creativitymatters

Year 9 enjoyed a Careers session with volunteers from Aviva Pinsent Masons today. The finale was a question and answer session with our Year 9s interviewing the volunteers! Great feedback from the volunteers too: "a great school with super engaged students" Year 9 stars!

Inspiring young minds - Year 7 Girls attended an inspirational Motorsport event at Lotus before half term. The event was set up to encourage young girls into motorsports and engineering. A great day which included the opportunity to sit in a sportscar worth £2.1 million!!!
